The veterinary referral service was originally established by Dr A. Gillick in 1974 and was recently relocated to our new facility, the Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Oct 2009. We are located in Scarborough at 21 Rolark Drive. Our animal emergency clinic provides onsite 24/7 Emergency care by experienced emergency clinicians and technicians. Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is overseen by our board certified specialist in emergency and critical care medicine. We sevice the entire GTA.

Referral Service - Our specialists have extensive training in a wide variety of services including:
- Surgery: Orthopedics, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, reconstructive surgery, oncology, joint replacement
- Medical Services: Disease management, diagnostic and endoscopic procedures, chemotherapy, nutritional management
- Diagnostic Imaging: Inpatient and outpatient ultrasound services and imaging consultation including onsite CT scans
- Critical Care Service: Diagnosis and management of any patient with life-threatening illnesses

NEW Elbow Procedure: CUE Arthroplasty

ACP - Autologous Conditioned Plasma
TVEH is offering ACP (platelet rich plasma) therapy for certain muscle and tendon injuries as well as for adjunct or alternative therapy for numerous canine orthopedic conditions.
